Here is a piece of entertainment history. A 1952 William Morris Agency contract signed by their famous client Frank Sinatra, his Genuine signature, NOT a proxy as with many of his letters and some insignificant contracts.  This was for an appearance at the Chez Paree in Montreal, Canada. The contract was to perform at the club for a period of ten days beginning on February 6, 1953 (58 years ago).    In addition, attached to the contract is quite a significant rider/memo which states, “Please gives this copy to Frank Sinatra he will need it to cross the border”.  Also attached is a cover sheet detailing his compensation.

An incredible contract in excellent condition with all associated documents of great importance to the legendary singer in 1953, the beginning of his great comeback following his academy award role in “From Here to Eternity” released that same year.   A nice clean, well preserved document, with fantastic bold signature during the most critical juncture of his career and original rider and cover letter included indeed makes this a museum quality piece.
