Vintage oversized matte-finish 10 x 13 photo, signed and inscribed in ink, “To ‘Captain Andy’ Phil—I’ve spent many happy hours with you. Please, let there be many, many more. Your a ‘grand boy,’ Love, Judy.” “Captain Andy” was a character in the play and subsequent film Show Boat; the inscribee was, perhaps, an actor who played the character onstage. Soiling and toning to extreme edges (easily matted out), and a few small creases to background and corners, otherwise fine condition. Comes with TWO COAs from Conway's Vintage Treasures and UACC Dealer and lead PSA authenticator and this dealer is also the author of the most recent Judy Garland signature study that appeared in Autograph Collector in the Fall of 2008. It was the most extensive and accurate Judy Garland signature study ever produced.
