This original one sheet boasts "Will Not Be Shown on Home TV for 6 Months." The significance of that claim was extremely important in 1971, as Cinerama worked hard to out hustle the insatiable television market. The film chronicles one of the most anticipated events in sports history, and stirred up considerable interest and excitement. There was such buzz that Life Magazine hired Frank Sinatra (see the original photo we have for sale here) to photograph the fight, and many other celebrities attended, including Woody Allen, Miles Davis, Diane Keaton and Ethel Kennedy.
