Very rare and exceptional original ink sketch of oneof his most famous characters, "Morticia". One of the best we have seen. The first Addams artwork we have acquired in about 12 years.

American cartoonist (1912–1988) best known for his clever, macabre sense of humor. His most famous creation was the Addams Family, which spawned a classic television show and a series of successful films. Original ink and wash sketch of Morticia Addams on a cream 6 x 9 card, signed “Chas. Addams.” In very fine condition. An uncommonly large and pleasing example!
