Very Rare, probably one-of-a-kind photo of Elvis with letter from Elvis manager Col Parker to Al Dvorin (Elvis's concert manager). See enlarged images.

Elvis Presley - 1957 Hawaii Photo and Letter. Gorgeous 8" x 10" color glossy photo of Elvis from his first visit to the islands in November, 1957. Hawaii is noted for its hospitality, but from the lipstick smears on the King's face, it appears the Hawaiian greeting he got was more than hospitable! An accompanying letter from Colonel Tom Parker's assistant, Mary Diskin, is addressed to Al Dvorin, Elvis' longtime bandleader and booking agent and reads, "Colonel has asked that I send you the attached photo of Elvis. Said it will probably bring back a lot of pleasant memories of the trip to Hawaii." The photo's in Excellent condition. From the Al Dvorin Archives.

Albert Dvorin (18 November 1922 in Chicago, Illinois - 22 August 2004 near Ivanpah, California) was an American bandleader and talent agent who coined the phrase "Elvis has left the building."

Dvorin met Elvis Presley through Colonel Tom Parker in 1955, and organized Presley's concert tours for the next 22 years. After Presley's death, Dvorin kept a low profile, attending Elvis conventions only after Parker's death.

Presley's Estate never gave Dvorin any royalties from his famous phrase, causing him to hold some animosity towards the organization.
