Muhammad Ali signed and dated this boxing glove in 1997. There are many forgeries in the market but this is a rare genuine autographed glove. IN addition to my personal experience writing to Ali in the late 80's early 90's and clearly recognizing his genuine signature and handwriting (including his unique writing of numbers) it has ALSO been PSA certified. This autographed boxing glove has been deemed authentic by PSA/DNA and comes with a tamper-proof label affixed with a matching serial number. You can look up this item on PSADNA.COM. Ali included an inscription that has been partly rubbed off. But, the signature and date are beautifully bold and clear, one of his BETTER signatures I've seen, before his signature became quite illegible due to his illness. These authentically signed gloves are skyrocketing in value for obvious reasons. To get one from such places as Stiener's you will pay around $2000 (and rising).

Update: Muhammad Ali Signed boxing gloves certified by PSA and Stiener are selling up to $2595 as of today.

As voted Athlete of the Century there is no place to go but UP for Genuine Muhammad Ali autographed material. Especially prior to the late 90's when his signature became more illegible. And, he is no longer able to sign autographs
