"Casablanca", 1942
Original Vintage Movie Poster Title Card (11x14")
Starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman

More RARE and considered by many More beautiful then the 1942 release version..

Extremely rare actual theater used, 1949 Title Card for a film that needs no introduction.   Terrific artwork and graphics.  Amazing Excellent + Condition!   With spectacular image of the two iconic stars...  A gem of a find!  (You won't likely ever see another!).

We acquired one of these a couple years ago, but it was in Much lessor condition then this one and required restoration.   Even then the demand for it was quite intense.

Casablanca (Warner Brothers, R-1949). Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman star in what many consider to be one of the greatest movies ever made. Against the war-torn backdrop of Casablanca, they rekindle a romance amidst political intrigue, corruption and murder. The film went on to win the Oscar for Best Picture, Director and Screenplay. Bogart would receive his first nomination for Best Actor.

After the war, Warner Brothers felt it was time to reissue their Academy Award winning love story and this great title card is from that first re-release. Perhaps more scarce than the original title card, the largest movie memorabilia auction house has only offered this 1949 Title Card ONCE, in March 2017 and it sold for $2700.  Whereas , they have sold five 1942 Title Cards sellign for up to $23,000.

Note: The 1949 Title Card that was sold in March 2017 for $2700 was NOT in the amazing condition as the one we are offering here.  That one had several  pinholes on the borders and in the artwork area and stain discoloration.  . This one has NO PINHOLES, No Tears, No stains.   Its almost too good to be true.  But, on the back it has a vintage tape residue that was NOT used to repair anything but most likely to display it, and the reason why No pinholes.  Meanwhile, the vintage tape residue, very subtle age toning and
very minor smudge on top
border gives it a nice touch of authenticity and vintage anesthetic appeal.    A gem of a find!
