Ninety percent of al Roy Rogers movie posters ever offered for sale have been from the 1940s and 50s. The earliest we have had in the past is from 1939. This 1938 is a first for us. Just 27 years old the young Roy Rogers stars in this western classic and this one sheet movie poster has stunning artwork of the young rising western star.. Very Good-Excellent condition and has been professionally linen backed.

Sweethearts of the West, Roy Rogers and Mary Hart, fall in love as they fight off a cattle rustler, who is threatening Hart and her father. With bright color and a great image of Roy strumming his guitar, this one sheet is a must for fans of the "The King of the Cowboys." Professional restoration has addressed chips in the borders and folds, pinholes in the interior, a small gouge in the title. There has been touchup to the folds and the linen has been trimmed up to the border. Fine+ on Linen.
