"Daddy", 1923
Original Vintage Movie Poster One Sheet (27x41")
Starring Jackie Coogan
We all remember Jackie Coogan as the loony “Uncle Fester” from
the iconic 60’s sitcom “The Addams Family”. But what you may not know is he was the most prolific child actor during
the silent film, pre-depression era. As a child star, Coogan earned an estimated $3
to $4 million ($48 million to $65 million adjusted for 2012 dollars). His rise
to fame and fall and rise back up is one
of Hollywood’s most scintillating stories. His Wikipedia page is quite a fascinating
read, HERE.
