SPECTACULAR Original Vintage Sci Fi Horror Movie Poster One Sheet (27x41")

1953 - A very rare and highly desirable one sheet movie poster for this popular campy 50s Sci Fi classic.   The artwork for this vintage sci-fi is terrific. Although the movie reviews were quite bad it surprisingly has a strong following. Rarely does the original one sheet surface in the marketplace for this title.   As a matter of fact, we could not find another for sale anywhere online.  The only other vintage movie paper for this title was a less desirable half sheet for $1500.    And this is a particularly Choice find, as the one we had about ten years ago was not in as good condition as this one, such as the bright colors vs the darker faded colors on the last one.. 

Also, we're not sure if these women really do live on the moon since Neil Armstrong did not encounter them during his 1969 trip there.  Very good-Excellent condition.  Had minor wear on folds and borders, but has been professionally linen backed and looks amazing !

A group of scientists, led by Laird Grainger (Sonny Tufts) and Kip Reissner (Victor Jory), travel to the moon, where they find a lost civilization of cat-women deep underground, guarded by a giant spider! Classic 1950s kitsch, this movie was parodied in 1987's Amazon Women on the Moon. 
Sonny Tufts leads an outer space expedition to the moon, only to find it populated by a race of leotard-wearing cat women! Victor Jory, Marie Windsor, Carol Brewster, Susan Morrow, and Bill Phipps also star in this wild tale featuring fantastic sets, mind control, and a massive spider. Highly sought after by sci-fi collectors, this one sheet utilizes the same image of the rocket used for the Academy Award winning film, Destination Moon.
