It is on a rare occasion we acquire one of these 1949 re-release OZ lobby cards. Many collectors believe these are superior to the original 1939 cards as the stunning colors, artwork , graphics are just spectacular. These Rare 1949 Release lobby cards have become more desirable then the original 1939 and often sell for more. In 2008 this rare "Wicked Witch" Lobby Card in NM Condition sold for $7800! And this Gem we have acquired here is also in UN-Restored Excellent + to NM condition. No tears, NO pinholes, No stains Only a subtle age toning around the border edges that adds a nice extra touch of vintage authenticity.. I personally prefer and love a light vintage tone to my 70 year old movie posters! Another example of the investment grade desirability of Original vintage Wizard of OZ movie posters and lobby cards is a 1939 Title Card sold in 2003 at auction for $15000.

We just acquired the 1949 Re-release Wizard of OZ Complete Set from a long time collector who had these displayed in his home for 20 years! And took excellent care of them. It is the first time in our 37 years collecting vintage Hollywood memorabilia we have ever seen the Entire set available.
