UNBELIEVABLE Original photo just days after Dillinger was gunned down. An ORIGINAL Vintage 1934 News Service Photo issued in July that year by Times Wide World Photo depicting a shocking image of death - the body of infamous outlaw John Dillinger who was gunned down by the FBI. The original press stamp and date on the reverse of this vintage photo measuring 7" x 9". Thousands gathered to capture a glimpse of Dillinger who captured the imagination of the public. RARE 1st generation period photograph issued at the time the sensational event happened !

About 7 months ago we acquired another incredible John Dillinger "death photo" of his body in morgue. We are fortunate to acquire this stirring and striking photo from the same collection. This is an Original photo, not a reprint or restrike. Taken at the time of Dillinger's death in July of 1934. I tis an official wire service photo used in publication in newspapers all across the country.
