In the last decade of his life Walter Lantz was known to be quite generous with fans. He would on occasion draw a sketch of his famous world wide known character, Woody Woodpecker and autograph it. I myself was fortunate enough to receive a signed sketch from Lantz in the early 90's and still have it in my personal collection. Here is one acquired from a fan who also wrote to Lantz in 1990.
