Charles Schulz was a big Hockey fan

Recipient of the signed "Snoopy" was at a Hockey Rink coffee shop and ran into Charles in the early 1980’s, and asked for his autograph; Charles drew Snoopy on the back of a hockey schedule  signed it "Schulz" and gave to recipient.  

However, what the original owner did not mention was the back of the Hockey schedule is for the Redwood Empire Arena, which Charles Schulz purchased in 1969 and is now known as "Snoopy's Home Ice".  You can see it Here. 

The original sketch is a terrific bold signed "Snoopy" sketch done in dark blue ink.  It is slightly attached at top and bottom to a brown matting. However, it easily comes off . Only held on with a subtle adhesive.   Size about 7½ " long x 4½" wide

A fantastic in person Autographed drawing of "Peanuts" most famous character.  And on a Charles Schulz very personal piece of history !
