Very rare poster to find.. the first we have ever had in 35 years collecting!

Sherlock Holmes and the Voice of Terror (Universal, 1942). Half Sheet (22" X 28").
In the early days of World War II, Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) and Dr. John Watson (Nigel Bruce) are enlisted to track down The Voice of Terror, an unknown German broadcaster whose pronouncements always precede acts of sabotage and destruction. This was the first film in the Rathbone/Bruce franchise to be set in modern times; previous films had kept the characters in Victorian England. This half sheet has a small dust shadow in the top border, light creases, and paper tape on the verso along the edges (not to repair any tears, but just reinforcement to prevent tears.  Tape could be easily removed), but is otherwise very presentable, making this a perfect piece for any Baker Street Irregular! Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
