This great Schulz signed sketch of Snoopy is on his personal stationary with graphic of “Lucy” in upper left. It is 7x9”.   The drawing/sketch is done in black ink.  The paper has the slightest tone of vintage aging. Just enough to give it a beautiful vintage look.

Incredibly rare original Charles Schulz sketch of "Snoopy" playing golf , leaning on a putter.  This piece was drawn and autographed for LPGA player Kathy Martin, who was paired with Schulz during a pro-am tournament in San Diego in 1974.  Furthermore, he signed with his very rare and personal nickname “Sparky” , followed by his real name “Schulz”.  He seemed to stop using his nickname on sketches in the 1970’s.  This is the first authentic one we have seen.   A real piece of history!

Original signed and inscribed full-length felt tip sketch of Snoopy leaning on a golf club, with a heart springing from his chest, on the reverse of an off-white 8.75 x 12.75" gold score card sheet. Signed and inscribed, “For Kathy, my favorite partner—Sparky (Schulz)”. The original recipient was LPGA player Kathy Martin, who was paired with Schulz during a pro-am tournament in San Diego in 1974. In fine condition, with a mild overall shade of toning over sketch and signature from previous framing, and a slightly rough left edge. A fabulous full-length sketch, coupled with Schulz’s nickname usually reserved for close friends and colleagues, elevates this sketch above par. Original Vintage Autographed Cel, 1942-3
"Der Fuhrer's Face" 

This is a really genuine piece of animation history.  An original 1942 Disney cel of Donald Duck for the WWII short "Der Fuhrer's Face".  An exceptionally colorful image of Donald.  Many of these mats that were signed by Walt Disney had the original cel removed at some point.  A major autograph auction house recently sold a signed matt with a reproduced photo of this cell for $3000.  While Original Disney signed cells often realize in excess of $10,000.  For example, a Disney signed cel from "Lady and the Tramp" just sold for $17,000 (Feb 9, 2011).

 A cel, is painted on a separate sheet of plastic celluloid from the background.   This image was originally used in the production of the wartime short "Der Fuhrer's Face" .  It has the Courvoisier label on the reverse.  Walt Disney hired Courvoisier in 1937 to produce his animated cells.  Publicity cels are cels that are created for publicity purposes-- as gifts to important people in the distribution and publicity area. Walt Disney has Autographed the mat to the lower right of the cell in bold red artist pencil. An amazing perfect Large authentic signature, over 6" wide!! (see image below with quarter for size perspective). Also, has the red 'Original WDP' ink stamp

The back of the frame is still sealed and although paper has become aged and brittle, has not been removed for several decades.  Also, note the original Courvoisier label on the reverse indentifying this as an original cell actually used in the production of  "Der Fuhrer's Face" (the ink handwriting of the title on the label has faded but can still make it out).

EX-RARE Original Signed Sketch of "Schroeder". It has been many years since we have acquired exceptional Authentic high quality Charles Schulz Original Artwork. What makes this particular sketch so extraordinary is that is it an original sketch of "Schroeder". Over the years we have seen a number of Charlie Brown and Snoopy sketches but have NEVER seen a Schroeder sketch. ALSO, Schulz has SIgned with his COMLETE name "Charles M Schulz" and NOT just the usual "Schulz". ALSO, it is NOT inscribed to someone else as he usually did when autographing items. .

And, what a great illustration of Schroeder behind his famous piano with a giant musical note floating above the piano. .

The sketch is inside an Original copy of Peanuts hardcover with original dust jacket from 1963. Some wear to jacket from handling with a few small edge and spine tears and a surface tears from something stuck on cover being removed. Book opens to the sketch on the inside, front flyleaf page. Hardcover measures 5.75" x 5.75" and flyleaf page inside measures 5.5" x 5.5".

An incredible rare vintage treasure to ever appear on the market for sale. Original Drawn Sketch of "Linus"

One of the most desired Charles Schulz drawn sketches is that of beloved Peanuts character “Linus”.  This is most likely because he Rarely autographed and drew Linus. Almost all the sketches he drew for friends and fans were of “Snoopy” or “Charlie Brown”. 

Here is a great example of Schulz famous Peanuts art of Linus holding his blanket and sucking on his thumb. Drawn on the first main blank page of this vintage  Peanuts book.  For those familiar with his comic art and signature this is indeed an early style of both his artwork and signature. The “Linus” sketch and autograph have been done with vintage blue fountain pen.  The pages have some age toning to them as expected for a 53 year old book. But the book, sketch and signature are in excellent condition.   The vintage book is 8 x 5.5".. A really exceptional find!

Linus van Pelt is a character in Charles M. Schulz's comic strip Peanuts. The best friend of Charlie Brown, Linus is also the younger brother of Lucy van Pelt and older brother of Rerun van Pelt. He first appeared on September 19, 1952; however, he was not mentioned by name until three days later. He was first referenced two months earlier, on July 14. Linus spoke his first words in 1954, the same year he was shown with his security blanket

Perhaps paradoxically, given his advanced intellect, Linus is almost never without his blue blanket, which debuted in the June 1, 1954 strip. He holds the blanket over his shoulder while sucking his thumb. It was in fact he who coined the term "security blanket." Ridicule of the habit is not a major concern for him as shown when one friend, Roy, warned him at summer camp that he would be viciously teased for it.

Charles M. Schulz autographed "Home is on Top of a Dog House" with Original hand drawn Snoopy sketch.  Copyright 1966 United Features Syndicate.  Inscribed in black felt tipped pen on the inside page " For Laurie / Charles M. Schulz " with a full page Snoopy sketch. 

Signature, sketch and the whole book are in excellent condition.  All pages are crisp with no fading, tears or creases.  It appears that the book has only been opened gently but never really used.  The only wear that is visible on the book is on the jacket and the outer corners which is pictured.  Size of book is about 6x6"

Exceptionally drawn vintage original Charles Schulz Peanuts Snoopy bold pencil sketch. Sketch of Snoopy signed To Nathan and signed Schulz under the drawing. Really nice sketch of Snoopy done in pencil. Sketch is on an advertising pad for Dyazide medication. Sheet is pasted down to a blue cardboard piece. Size of drawing measures 4.5 by 4 inches in size. Size of board is 7 by 5 inches in size. Condition is very good with some toning, a slight mark across part of the drawing, and some pin holes in the upper left hand corner.

Rare "Snoopy Flying Ace" Autographed Sketch

Here is an unusual and amazing photo that has been signed by Charles Schulz. He has also added a sketch in the clouds of Snoopy. A very rare item as we have seen a number of Schulz sketches done on white paper or board but have never seen include his artwork in such a creative manner as he has on this airplane photo.

Color 13 x 10.5 paperstock photo of a TWA jet in flight, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, “For Jim Reid with best wishes for a Merry Christmas—Charles M. Schulz,” Schulz adding a sketch of Snoopy as the “Flying Ace” and the caption, “What in the world is that?” The date “’70” has been added . According to the original owner, the inscribee was a pilot for TWA. Matted and framed to an overall size of 18 x 15. In very good condition, with minor tears to bottom edge (touching bottom of doghouse sketch).

OFFICIAL First day issue of Nathaniel Hawthorne sketched on and signed by CHARLES SCHULZ.

There is a little illustration of Snoopy himself on the postcard along with a sketch of a heart and Schultz Full signature, "Charles M Schulz".

Excellent condition! Comes with a printout of the Certificate of Authenticity and valuation that was carried out by Paul Fraser Autographs in 2004. It is valued at £1250, which is $2062 in US Dollars.

A wonderful set of collectibles for the "Dick Tracy" or Chester Gould collector. Here is a matted original Christmas card sent out by Chester Gould and family along with an original sketch of "Dick Tracy", "Flat Top" and a large signature and dated (5-10-56) by Chester Gould, the original creator of "Dick Tracy". The sketch paper has some staining on the back that shows through but it is still an incredible original sketch by this legendary comic strip creator. A very rare item!! One of the most desired Charles Schulz drawn sketches is that of beloved Peanuts character “Charlie Brown”.  He was of course the central character of the famous "Peanuts" comic strip and Schulz empire.

Here is a great example of Schulz famous Peanuts art of an early version of a smiling Charlie Brown.  Drawn on the first main blank page of this vintage  1957 Peanuts book.  For those familiar with his comic art and signature this is indeed an early style of both his artwork and signature. SIGNED Batman Poster

Here is a very unuusal and rare poster showing Batman and his sidekick Robin with children from all over the world, showing their support for UNICEF and for children worldwide. (!) "BAT MAN and ROBIN HAVE JOINED THE CRUSADE", it reads at the top. At the bottom it declares 1979 "International year of the Child", which is the year from which this image dates. This is a very unusual and interesting Poster, the first we have ever seen as there were limited quantities produced! What's more, it is signed by Batman creator Bob Kane (see pictures below--the unsigned image came out better, so I have I've kept that as the main image; however, I have provided a picture of the entire signed poster just so you can see the signature in context.)

The artwork is just incredible!!

In the last decade of his life Walter Lantz was known to be quite generous with fans. He would on occasion draw a sketch of his famous world wide known character, Woody Woodpecker and autograph it. I myself was fortunate enough to receive a signed sketch from Lantz in the early 90's and still have it in my personal collection. Here is one acquired from a fan who also wrote to Lantz in 1990.

Signed Photograph with Original Sketch of "Andy"

Nice 6x8" signed photo with great sketch of "Andy".

Reg Smythe was born in Hartlepool in 1917, the son of a boat-builder. He left school at fourteen, worked as a butcher's delivery boy, joined the Northumberland Fusiliers in 1936, and submitted cartoons to Cairo magazines during the war. After a spell as a post-office telephone clerk, he started freelancing as a cartoonist, joining the Daily Mirror in 1954.

Influenced by his cartoonist mentor Leslie Harding ('Styx') he produced the regular feature 'Laughter at Work' before creating 'Andy Capp' in 1957. Syndicated to 1400 newspapers in 31 countries, read by 175 million people and translated into 13 languages, the strip - based on the flat-capped Northerner and the pun 'handicap' - became a national institution.

Reg Smythe died in Hartlepool in 1998, leaving enough completed 'Andy Capp' strips for a further eighteen months of publication.

Bud Blake
Original Signed Sketch

Original 7x10" sketch drawn and signed by Bud Blake, on his personal "Tiger" stationary.

The strip, with its cast of Tiger and his boyhood pals, was named as
the year's best humor strip in 1970, 1978 and 2000 by the National
Cartoonists Society. It still appears in more than 100 newspapers in 11
countries, King Features said.

The strip, which captured children's humor and charm, included Tiger,
his little brother Punkinhead, his best friend Hugo and his dog Stripe.

Blake continued drawing "Tiger" until he was 85.

Before becoming a cartoonist, Blake was executive art director for an
ad agency whose clients included General Motors and Goodyear. After
quitting, he worked as a freelance cartoonist and on a cartoon panel
called "Ever Happen to You?" He created "Tiger" in 1965, nine years
after leaving the advertising firm.
