Personally gifted by Sinatra to famed talk show host Joe Franklin and his "Memory Lane" collection of memorabilia, Franklin states in the letter of provenance, "This truly expressive keepsake of Frank Sinatra history...has been an important part of my private collection since 1985 when Frank contributed the tie bar and various other personal items selected from his private wardrobe."
