It is on a rare occasion we acquire one of these 1949 re-release OZ lobby cards. We always believed they were superior to the original 1939 cards, the color, artwork , graphics are just spectacular. For many years we thought these 49 lobby cards were our little secret. That changed last year when Heritage sold eight cards separately. The prices shocked everyone. One sold for over $4200! Even more then the original 1939 cards. Our little secret was no longer. The rest of the collecting world apparently discovered these extraordinary treasures.

Here we are offering one of the best cards of the set, "Lion Acts Tough" . This particular card was one of the rare OZ lobby cards, ONLY produced for this 1949 lobby card set. One of our favorites. You know the scene. A BEAUTY! The colors and contrast are exceptional on this vintage lobby card. It usually takes us several years to find ONE of these. However, we were fortunate recently to acquire FOUR of these magnificent pieces of Hollywood History. Be sure to check them out. Grab this one or wait about 4-5 years for us to find another. Excellent condition VERY scarce card to find!
