You have seen the wanted Poster but here is the news release photo actually used to exhibit the wanted poster in news publications across the country when the poster was released in July 1934. RARE! Even more rare than the poster itself as only a couple original Period I photos were ever produced.
A Vintage 1934 Original News Service Photograph issued by the Associated Press (AP) depicting the famous poster that was posted around towns at the time. It shows the "WANTED" poster featuring John Dillinger. The photo measures 7" x 9" and is a "period" photograph issued at the time by the AP the infamous outlaw was the most wanted criminal in the nation and was intended for use in newspapers. Original press stamp and several stamp dates including one from JUL 5 1934 on the verso. Just a fantastic antique photograph that would look so bad-azz when framed !
