Lost in Space Helmet and Gun Set
with Box by Remco, 1966

From 1966, here is the Extremely Rare "Lost in Space" (LIS) Helmet and Gun Set WITH the Original box.  This set , both helmet and gun, rarely ever appears on the market, particularly with the original box.   We often see the Remco "Lost in Space" robot for sale, but NOT this incredibly rare set.   It is the first we have ever acquired in 30 + years collecting vintage TV Toy memorabilia.  If you are looking for the Robot we can always find one. But, if you desire the Helmet/Gun set in original box, this is probably the ONLY time you will ever see it for sale

This Helmet and Gun set is a fantastic find to get all three items (box, gun, and helmet). The helmet is in good condition there are some light marks on the decals and the helmet and blue translucent dome plastic has some light marks on it as well but it has no cracks and the elastic strap is still intact.   NOTE: 95% of the LIS Helmets you will see on the market are MISSING the Light Dome on top.

The plastic play ray gun is missing it’s light bulb so it cannot be tested for function. But, a bulb would be fairly easy to find.  Cosmetically the gun has some wear with the chrome worn off over much of the gun and there is a crack in the plastic on the front red cover. There are also general random scratches and light marks around the gun. The wheel in the gun still is present with the red, green, and blue filters and the trigger is working. The box is in good condition as well there are some light marks on the front from handling but no major condition issues with the front decal, there are some creases and small tears on the top flaps (one flap has a 3 inch tear along the seam in it), the bottom flaps are taped closed. The back has a small piece missing from the box and there are a few light creases in parts of the box from items being stacked on it over the years. Overall this is a great set and a special piece.

Note: Eight years ago I paid $2300 for JUST the Helmet.
