A Vintage 1953 ORIGINAL News Service Photo issued by International News Photos depicting a rare overhead shot taken on September 12 in Newport, Rhode Island. The event - John Fitzgerald Kennedy of MA wed one Jacqueline Lee Bouvier of NY. And hence, the birth of "Camelot" begins right here at St. Mary's Church where an estimated 700 guests attended the ceremony. Original Hearst press stamp on the reverse of this historic TYPE I photograph when excellent contrast and minute detail capturing all the excitement that day.  Can even see other member of the family nearby (Robert in tow).   Amazing photo to see in person!

John and Jackie would go on to form the foundation of America's most famous family of the 20th Century, a legacy which still captures the imagination of the public here in the 21st. For the collector of vintage Camelot pieces, as early as it gets and a gem to add to any collection!
