This was where it all begin,  the Bogart/Bacall love story.    In the midst pf WWII,  it is considered by many to be there very best together.  And in 40 years of collecting this is only the second lobby card we've ever acquired.   The rarity of original paper from this 1944 classic was no doubt in large part, to the WWII paper drives, which destroyed an estimated 90-95% of all movie posters during that era.     A great scene of Bogart with the sultry Bacall by his side.  Excellent condition with just minor border wear.

Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall met and fell in love while making this film, their on-screen chemistry undeniable. Bogart runs a charter boat in Martinique during WWII. A big customer is killed before he can pay, so Bogart and his rummy buddy Walter Brennan are forced to smuggle in a Resistance leader.

Directed by Howard Hawks. An unrestored lobby card with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as slight edge wear, light creases, small tears, pinholes..
