Two Tars, the 1928 James Parrott (Charley Chase's brother) Navy shore leave automobile car accident slapstick comedy short (sailors Stan and Ollie rent a car while on shore leave and get into a wacky and disastrous series of misadventures; produced by Hal Roach) starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), Edgar Kennedy, Thelma Hill, Ruby Blaine, and Harry Bernard.

Important Added Info: This still has "PROPERTY OF THE B J NICKELODEON", which was a theater that saved many stills from movies they showed in the late 1920s to the mid 1930s, which accounts for them being in such excellent condition. NICKELODEON Theaters were born in the ate 19th century and were popular until around the late 20s/early 30s. You can find a very informative Wiki page detailing the history of NICKELODEON Theaters.
The photo was part of a collection owned by celebrity Johnny Crawford. Mr. Crawford first came to fame as the son in the TV series "The Rifleman" and later became a band leader. He loved movies, and early on he collected many stills and lobby cards. This beautiful rare early Laurel & Hardy still was part of his collection!
