Dracula, 1931
Original Vintage Horror Lobby Card Movie Poster
Starring Bela Lugosi

Let's just get to the point!  This is arguably the BEST Dracula lobby card ever produced for the 1947 re-release of this iconic horror classic with Lugosi hovering over his prey !.

And if that''s not enough , look at the striking and menacing border image of Lugosi in the lower right...   Simply astonishing to say the least.
{Note: we have  other Dracula lobby cards ).  Excellent condition with minor expected handling wear and very small unobtrusive tear near the center background.

Just look at the enlargeable image above , what else needs to be said?

Note:   Just to give you an idea of the immense popularity and skyrocketing value of a top tier horror masterpiece like "Dracula",  a 1931 "Dracula" Title Card sold at auction in July 2019 for $114,000 and a regular scene lobby card sold for $102,000.  A "Dracula" one sheet sold at auction in November 2017 for $525,800.   Making this fantastic 1947 CHOICE lobby card a remarkable opportunity and investment!

Dracula (Universal, R-1947). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
In 1930, Universal was a struggling studio, desperate for a hit. Taking a chance on an adaptation of a popular Broadway play, Carl Laemmle Jr. acquired the film rights to Bram Stoker's immortal novel about an aristocratic vampire, and brought Dracula to the silver screen in 1931. Not only was the film a sensation, but it made an overnight superstar of Bela Lugosi and ushered in the Golden Age of Universal Horror. This great scene featuring Hellen Chandler and Bela Lugosi is in quite extraordinary condition for this 75 year old lobby card!
Starring Bela Lugosi, Helen Chandler, David Manners, Dwight Frye, Edward Van Sloan, Herbert Bunston, Frances Dade, Joan Standing, Charles K. Gerrard, Anna Bakacs, Carla Laemmle, Tod Browning, and Dorothy Tree. Directed by Tod Browning. An unrestored lobby card that displays signs of use. This includes slight edge wear, mild creases, pinholes, and unobtrusive stains and smudges. There is a very small unobtrusive tear near the center background.
