A Very Rare Live Event Promotional Poster for Bud Abbott & Lou Costello live show appearance on stage at The London Palladium theater for two weeks only.  Having collected Abbott & Costello since 1980 (my very first vintage movie poster acquisition was "Abbott & Costello Meet Dr Jekyl & Mr Hyde" one sheet),  this is the FIRST Live Appearance poster I've ever seen!

Making this an extremely desirable and valuable find!  Excellent condition, never folded.   * See enlargeable image above.

Size: 12x20"

ABBOTT & COSTELLO stage play English Window Card Promotional Poster  1953
legendary comedy team performing live on stage!

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello are considered to be one of the greatest comedy teams from the 1930s to the 1950s. They started working on stage together in 1935 and graduated to radio, television and film. Some of their movies include: One Night in the Tropics, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, Hold That Ghost, and Who Done It..

Added Info: Note that in 1953, this legendary comedy team traveled to England and performed on stage at The London Palladium theater for two weeks only. They performed twice nightly, along with Kay Starr, the Merry Macs and many more acts! This window card is an original 1953 English window card from that performance. Also note that this English stage play window card (unlike U.S. stage play window cards, which are printed on a heavy-weight paper) is printed on a light-weight paper stock that can be rolled and sent in a tube…

Condition: very good to fine. The poster has never been folded and it is in nice condition!
