For Crimin' Out Loud, the 1956 Jules White detective slapstick comedy short ("As private eyes... they're a public menace"; "A Columbia Short-Subject Presentation"; in this entry, the Stooges are detectives hired by a politician, and when he disappears, they must search his spooky house to try to find him) starring The Three Stooges (Larry Fine, Moe Howard, Shemp Howard), Christine McIntyre, Ralph Dunn, Emil Stika, and Barbara Bartay. Note that this was the last short that Shemp worked on before he died, and that this short reused some of the footage from 1949's "Who Done It?"
