Superman and the Mole Men is a film of firsts. Not only is it the first time George Reeves played Superman, the character he would forever be associated with, but it is also the first theatrical feature film based on any DC Comics superhero. Not only that, but this is the first time this Half SHeet has ever been offered for sale (based on 30 years of auction records). . A most exciting half sheet featuring Reeves as Superman, Phyllis Coates as Lois Lane, and, of course, the misunderstood mole men. Previously folded before being backed on linen, restoration has addressed creases, scuffs, and extra folds. The poster is starting to slightly separate from the backing in a few places. The borders are airbrushed, and touchup has been applied to fold lines and creases.
