Rare (possibly only one in existence) vintage 1942 historical photo of Walt Disney.     WW2 era.

This is a vintage and original ACME press/news photograph dated April 2, 1942 that shows animation legend Walt Disney presenting French actress Michele Morgan with a drawing of a hippo soldier falling from the sky with an umbrella in lieu of a parachute. This gift was for the Free French Forces fighting in the African Congo during World War II.

The press snipe reads: "HOLLYWOOD - Michele Morgan (left), Parisian born actress, accepts dancing hippo insignia that Walt Disney (right) designed for Free French Forces in the African Belgian Congo. The De Gaullists asked Miss Morgan to use her influence in having Disney the escutcheon and it looks like her influence influenced."
