Very Rare 1860s circa CDV photograph of the famous Siamese Twins, Eng and Chang Bunk.  Very Rare as only a few of these Original Period Type I photos are known to exist.  Very good - Excellent  condition, especially for a 160 year old photo!  With just the right aging and attractive sepia toning .

"Siamese Twins" Eng and Chang Bunker Photograph. Carte de Visite.. Minimal soiling with sharp corners. Fine condition. Hailing from present-day Thailand, Chang and Eng (1811-1874) were joined at the chest from birth. They traveled the lucrative show circuit extensively during their youth, eventually settling in western North Carolina. There the twins married sisters, prospered and raised twenty-one children.
