One of the most startling Original Vintage photos of the Hindenburg we’ve ever encountered!   Simple Stunning and shocking as it bursts into flames from the rear as traumatized  onlookers on the ground can only watch in Horror !   Note:  At the moment this image was captured on film, the only thing left on the burning tail is the Swastika

1937 Incredible photograph of the Hindenburg in Lakehurst New Jersey and taken the moment it Burst into flames. One of the seminal events of the 20th century, the image evokes tons of emotion and reminds us of the frailty of life as well as the technological advancements that made it possible to capture this event on film. A bold and deep image in fine condition, this is a 1950's re-strike of the 1937 event off the original negative. Condition and quality are both very nice. This is one of the only examples of this spectacular image we have ever seen in any form!
