Simply Stunning mid 19th Century photographic image of John Wilkes Booth. A Very Rare image as we could not find references to another of this example. While a couple more common J Wilkes images appear on the market this particular Extraordinary photo appears to be extremely elusive ! With a nice antique sepia toning and extraordinary detailed from his face to the vest chain, this is potentially the best photo of him ever taken. Amazing condition for this 160 year old photo.
