A Vintage 1963 Wire Photograph issued by the Associated Press depicting Cassius Clay making his bold prediction of the number of rounds it will take for him to defeat his opponent Doug Jones. This famous image was one that has appeared in many books on the legendary Muhammad Ali when he was a brash young contender they called "The Louisville Lip". Rare period example transmitted by the AP and was used in newsprint publication at the time and has a newspaper clipping with a MAR 10 1963 stamp date on the verso along with the original press stamp !
