"The Godfather of Soul"

Extraordinary and Very RARE vintage James Brown large style LIVE Concert Poster with stunning artwork of the R&B Legend along with amazing lettering and colors,  the best we’ve ever seen !   This very Rare poster promotes Brown at the peak of his career in the Summer of 1980.  This is the Only example of this poster we have ever seen and could not find another that has ever appeared on the market.    A very similar looking one just sold at auction for $7000. 

Very Good-Excellent Condition with just one very small insignificant ¾” hole in the center on the bottom of the “S” on “James”.  With a black backing, the hole is virtually invisible (unless you know its there).   Would be a very inexpensive fix as most professional restorers would only charge $25-50 to restore the hole.

James Brown 1980 Dallas, TX Concert Poster. A Globe Poster for the Godfather of Soul's appearance at a venue a few streets away from Dallas Love Field airport called the Rose. Billed as a "show for the entire family," Brown was all about bringing a lot of people together and enjoying the grooves and the messages. Measures 17" x 28 ½". In Very Good Plus condition with a ¾" hole in the center portion, along with staple holes and creasing.
