Joe Cocker
Original Vintage LIVE Concert Poster, 1972

A particularly Very Rare Joe Cocker poster for which we could not find another that has ever appeared on the market.  Maybe that’s because it comes with extraordinary provenance from a student who worked on the show in 1972.

Joe Cocker 1972 Tuscaloosa, Alabama Concert Poster.
A light blue poster for a Joe Cocker performance at Memorial Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Cocker always let things rip when he stepped up to the microphone (and was even OK with being lampooned by John Belushi on Saturday Night Live), so the image provided here - re-worked from the cover of his debut album, With a Little Help from My Friends - gives you all you need to know about how powerful Cocker was.

Joe Cocker died from lung cancer on 22 December 2014 in Crawford, Colorado, at the age of 70. He had smoked 40 cigarettes a day until he quit in 1991

One delightful aspect of this poster is its provenance... it was obtained directly from a University of Alabama student at the time who worked on, and attended, the show. First time CVTeasures has ever had the pleasure of offering this. Measures 12 ½" x 18 ¾". In Very Good Plus condition with tape adhesive on the verso, soiling/toning in spots, staple holes, and creasing
