Creedence Clearwater Revival 1971 Providence, RI Concert Poster (AOR-4.204).
An original first-printing concert poster for John Fogerty and CCR playing at the Rhode Island Auditorium on Thursday, July 15, 1971. The opening acts were no slouches, either... rock 'n' roll founding father Bo Diddley (misspelled on the poster) and brand-new Oakland-based R&B/funk band Tower of Power.

This is when Creedence carried on as a trio after John's brother Tom Fogerty left the band. Earlier this year CCR had enjoyed the Top 10 hit "Have You Ever Seen the Rain," and the very week of this concert the group's newest Top 10 hit, "Sweet Hitch-Hiker," entered Billboard magazine's Hot 100. That would be just about the end of the line for them, however.

Measures 14" x 21 5/8" and grades to Very Good condition. The damage here is almost entirely to the verso, where there's lots of surface markings, two pieces of leftover clear cello tape, and three gentle rolling creases - horizontal, all the way across - which are pretty much undetectable on the front. Some light bumping to the top edge and a lightly dinged lower right corner.
