Original Vintage Old Movie Film Theater Posters Movie Disney Memorabilia Collectibles For Sale
Walt Disney's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"
Original Vintage Title Card Film Movie Poster (11x14")

A first for Conway's Vintage Treasures in 40 years collecting!.

Extremely Rare Original 1943 re-release of the coveted Title Card from Walt Doisney first feature film, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"...  Although we have owned a number of the re-releases this is the First genuine Original 1943 release title card we have ever acquired.   This significant piece of movie and Disney history is in very good condition for it's 80+ years.    Very good condition with pinholes on border corners and border wear.

Note: Lobby cards from this 1943 re-release of "Snow White" are more rare than those from the first 1937 release.  For example, the largest movie poster auction house has sold about ten of the 1937 Title Cards, while only Two of the 1943 Title Cards in the past 20 years.  A possible explanation is that this first re-release 1943 title card was released during the height of WWII, and most theater owners donated all their posters to the WWII Paper Drives.   Thus resulting in Very Few that survived.

Condition:   There are pinholes, tiny creases, a few faint smudges around the edges, with a tiny tear in the bottom left blank corner, a pinhole in the  center of the card, and two small scuff marks in the lower right background.  Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!   That said, a Real Beauty !   And VERY RARE!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (RKO, R-1943). Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Originally considered "Walt's Folly," as no one - including Walt's wife - believed a feature length cartoon could make money, Snow White and
the Seven Dwarfs ended up being the highest grossing film to date, supplanted only by the epic Gone with the Wind. Today, the film is seen as
an immortal classic, believed by young and old alike to be as fresh and charming today as it was over Eight decades ago.   This classic cartoon feature remains one of Disney's finest achievements, a perennial favorite for generations of fans.   This title lobby card is from the very first reissue of the film has great images from the film, heavy on the dwarfage.

Starring the voices of Adriana Caselotti, Roy Atwell, Eddie Collins, Pinto Colvig, Billy Gilbert, Otis Harlan, Scotty Mattraw, Lucille La Verne.
Directed by David Hand. A Walt Disney production. An unrestored lobby card with good color and an overall very presentable appearance.
