Here's something you won't see often.

Since we started collecting Original 1977 Star Wars movie posters about 35 years ago, the one original 1977 poster that has eluded us is the Most RARE Style C one sheet.    We have owned ALL the other style posters for the original 1977 Star Wars movie, except the Style C.   This week, we Finally discovered one !   And a particularly Nice One !

Rare and Highly Desirable..  This Style C Star Wars One Sheet in  Amazing Condition!

Condition:  This historical Sci Fi one sheet movie poster is in Excellent condition.  It is in completely UN-Restored  Condition and has been only Tri-Folded  (hence only horizontal folds, NO vertical fold).   Has some mild border wear and a small nick on bottom left border.

Excellent condition.  Just a small nick on bottom left border and some mild border wear..   

UPDATE: The small chip missing in the lower left border corner area, is NOT missing.  It is actually a small tear folded back.  So, the small chip disappears when the piece is pushed forward back into position.   Hence, in a frame or linen this issue would be gone. 

NOTE:   Most one sheets were folded both Vertically and horizontally, leaving fold line creases both across and vertically.  This poster however was Tri-Folded, meaning it was NOT folded vertically.  Hence, NO long vertical fold line.  Only the horizontal fold lines. This is considered the most  Rare of all the 1977 Original Release one sheet movie posters.  It was also heavily bootlegged flooding the market (especially on eBay) with the “Bootleg” Fakes.  The Fakes are easily identifiable by the experienced eye.   The primary difference is the gas cloud surrounding the laser fire is much more prominent and dense on the original than on the bootleg.  The bootleg gas cloud is significantly faded.     As you can see the gas cloud on this authentic poster is very prominent red. 

NOTE:  If you have been checking these out you probably have noticed many have faded colors.   This gem has retained it original bright gorgeous colors.
