This is an extraordinarily Rare "Wizard of Oz" 1955 re-release lobby card that rarely ever appears on the market..    

This very Rare Original vintage lobby card is from the third and final theatrical re-release before CBS bought the rights in 1956 and made it an annual event and institution that brought the family together like no other.
It was truly a magical like experience so highly anticipated once a year..  This is one of the most memorable scenes as the Dorothy and Glenda (Good Witch) are surrounded by the Munchkins. .    * Note this particular "Munchkin Land" lobby card scene ONLY appeared in the 1955 release lobby cards. 

Note:  The "Wizard of OZ" had three theatrical releases, 1939, 1949 and 1955 before NBC bought the rights in 1956 and it became an annual family event.  Many of us would wait in anticipation all year for the ONE and ONLY one showing of OZ.   If you missed it, you had to hope for next year,  there was NO On-Demand.  The family HAD to be together.
