After the assassination of his father, Prince Nikolas (Leslie Vincent), heir to a European throne, is escorted home by Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) and Dr. Watson (Nigel Bruce), who must keep the young man safe from any number of conspirators out to exterminate him.
Tension and intrigue abound on this gorgeous Title Card  with images of the cast surrounding an ocean liner in turbulent water from this scintillating Sherlock Holmes mystery. Basil Rathbone is detective Holmes, with Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson in this film filled with twists and turns that ultimately leads to Holmes outwitting all. This should be displayed proudly in any Sherlock Holmes collection!
