Fantastic artwork on this vintage 1946 historic theatrical used movie poster for the iconic Crosby & Hope “Road to” film “Road to Utopia”. Of all the movie posters for the “Road” series, this is one of the best designed. Rarely does this gem surface and only the 2nd time in our 40+ years collecting we have owned it. Not only an extraordinary collectible & piece of history to own, but stunningly unique home décor !

The fourth of the seven famous "Road" films reunites Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and Dorothy Lamour in the snowy wilds during the Alaskan Gold Rush. Crosby and Hope are entertainers on the run from the law who are mistaken for two rough, tough thugs.. Once again playing unemployed vaudeville musicians, this time Bob Hope and Bing Crosby head to Alaska to find their fortune. On the way, they discover a map they believe will lead them to a secret gold mine, as well as the hilarious misadventures for which the "Road" pictures were famous. This attractive one sheet, which shows Hope, Crosby, and co-star Dorothy Lamour mushing across the frozen wastes shows expected wear . But overall in excellent condition for a 75+ year old poster!
Starring Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Dorothy Lamour, Hillary Brooke, Douglass Dumbrille, Jack LaRue, Robert Barrat, Nestor Paiva, and Robert Benchley. Directed by Hal Walker. An unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as light edge and fold wear, pinholes, minute fold separation, soft creases, or unobtrusive smudges. There is a three inch tear in the right border traveling slightly into the image.
Excellent original studio folded condition. Would look even more amazing linen backed!
