And not just because it's a spectacular One sheet.   But also, because  "Shane" is my favorite movie of all time!  I've watched it about 25 times and could watch it another 25 .   Excellent condition and has been professionally linen backed..  A Beauty!   Just Sold at Auction in 2014 for over $2600.  

This is an original, linen-backed one-sheet movie poster from 1953 for Shane starring Alan Ladd, Brandon De Wilde, Jack Palance, Emile Meyer, Ben Johnson, Edgar Buchanan and Elisha Cook Jr. George Stevens directed the classic western. Ercole Brini is the artist for the poster.

For one of the greatest Western films ever made, director George Stevens' epic was nominated for six Academy Awards, and won for Best Cinematography. Alan Ladd, Jean Arthur, Jack Palance, Van Heflin, and Brandon De Wilde as little Joey, all give stand out performances in this tale of settlers fighting a band of outlaw cattlemen for their homestead rights. This iconic sheet is one of the best ever created.   By renown Italian artist Ercole Brini (1907-1989)..  And an extraordinary work of art worthy of any museum grade collection. 

The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display.
