Before he become the very First "Charlie Chan" Warner Oland was DR. FU MANCHU.  He is a very Rare early photo of him as DR. FU MANCHU.   

Film Description: The Return of Dr. Fu Manchu, the 1930 Rowland V. Lee Asian crime mystery melodrama (based on the novel by Sax Rohmer) starring Warner Oland (in the title role as Dr. Fu Manchu), O.P. Heggie (best remembered as the blind man who befriends the monster in "The Bride of Frankenstein", and also as the next door cellmate to Robert Donat in "The Count of Monte Cristo"), Jean Arthur, Neil Hamilton, and Evelyn Hall

Important Added Info: Note that this still is a key book still, mounted to a linen backing. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored.
That extra top 1" was trimmed off, not affecting the actual photo.  
Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic (as are ALL our vintage photos).
