Rare and most desirable of the Lincoln campaign pins/tokens used for his 1860 Presidential Campaign.... Also, almost everyone one we've seen, Lincoln and Hamlin's image is mostly illegible. This is one is in relatively nice condition.. This is a 1" diameter gilt stamped brass frame back-to-back ferrotypes. Has frame stamped with the candidates name corresponding to portrait with date "1860." .Holed at top for suspension. Defects include Lincoln portraits with some emulsion losses primarily around his face, but majority of his face in intact. Hamlin on the reverse is in quite excellent condition and a particularly nice higher then normal quality seen image of both of them..
