Gorgeous vintage 8x10" portrait of Walt Disney . Autographed in vintage fountain pen,
"To The Birmingham News Theater Best Wished 21st Anniversary Walt Disney".

Nice long inscription in unquestionably Walt Disney's hand, with bold fountian pen ink against a relatively light background making for excellent contrast to Disney's writing and signature.  Many Disney photos are signed in dark areas making for poor contrast.  Also, portrait photos of Disney are most desirable selling for up to $10,000 at some auctions.  This photo is one of the best Disney images taken somewhere in the late 40s, early 50s.

The inscription is possibly to the Alabama News Theater located in Birmingham, AL which was founded in 1927 making the "21st Anniversary" consistent to the photo's time period.   Also the Alabama News Theater had a special Walt Disney connection.  On their website reads, "One of the things the Alabama was known for in its early days was its Mickey Mouse Club which was formed in 1933."
