1915 World Series Scorecard - Babe Ruth's First World Series. It was Babe Ruth's historic first World Series, and the Bambino's sole at-bat came in a Game 1 defeat against Grover Cleveland Alexander.  Boston then ran the table in four straight contests.

Early examples of Babe Ruth Red Sox memorabilia have never been in higher demand than now, and when it happens to be ephemera from the back-to-back 1915 and 1916 World Championships, it is all the more precious. This colorful and classically designed UNSCORED scorebook sold for just ten cents nearly a hundred years ago, and featured Red Sox President Joseph Lannin and Manager William Carrigan, as well as Philadelphia Nationals President W.F. Baker and Manager Patrick Moran. Perhaps the best part of the booklet is the back cover, which is a full page Red Sox team photograph as part of an advertisement by Stag. The company presented a sweater to each member of the Boston team in recognition for their 1915 season, including a young Babe Ruth pictured in the middle of the first row.

Unscored this 7x10.5" program features Presidents Lannin and Baker, along with Managers Carrigan and Moran, on the cover. Inside, there are great team photos and a classic Draper & Maynard ad. Program displays nicely, considering is 100+ year age with a minor small tear running through the right edge of each page.
