A sensational portrait of magician Grover G. George (1887-1958) surrounded by curious creatures of the night fills this stone litho poster. George was born in Zainesville, Ohio, and developed a love for magic while watching Keller the Great and Howard Thurston at the old Schultz Opera House. By the 1920s, George was touring large, well respected theaters. A partially restored poster that displays signs of use. May include edge wear and/or unobtrusive stains and smudges. Restoration has addressed some of these issues. The linen has been trimmed to the border.
