As the 146 year old National Treasure, Barnum & Bailey Circus, has closed forever as of May 7, 2017 we prefer to remember this American Institution that has entertained generations of our ancestors with amazing authentic vintage relics like this spectacular Circus Poster featuring the popular 1930s act The OTARI TROUPE.  Certainly one fo the most beautiful circus posters we've ever encountered, showcasing their memorizing illuminated "Cross" form which they performed superhuman aerial acrobatics.     The OTARI TROUPE was with the Barnum & Bailey Circus 1932-1935.  

Very good condition.  Had some border and fold line wear but has been professionally linen backed and looks amazing!  Same size as an original movie poster one sheet (but horizontal style).

A review from 1934 illustrates how amazing this act was :
"OTARI TROUPE held center with their  spectacular aerial cross , from which ten of Europe’s most astounding athletes fly through space from all points  of the compass at the same time in a series of unparalleled  forward and reverse flights and dumb-founding double passes in mid-air".

A stunning piece of history from an unusually long era and significant American Institution that has succumb to the pressures of political groups and technology.   And extraordinary memorabilia like this is sure to skyrocket in value, especially this gem of a find!    Indeed one of the nicest we have seen in our 35 years collecting.
