Amazing piece of Circus & American History !

Its 1943 and the United States has just entered into its second year of a World War with Germany and Japan.   There's a lot of uncertainty and anxiety in the air and Americans are desperate for a distraction, something amazing.  And no one could deliver Amazement better than PT Barnum and his legendary circus animals and entertainers.

Striking vintage circus artwork on this Original 1942 Barnum & Bailey poster.  Very good-Excellent condition.   Great provenance with original location and date tail on bottom.  This poster was used for promoting the Circus in Newport, RI in 1942 at the beginning of WWII.   Great piece of history !

Note: This early 1940s Rhino artwork by Bill Bailey is particularly desireable by collectors and interior designers for its beauty and detail.
