Its 1943 and the United States has just entered into its second year of a World War with Germany and Japan.   There's a lot of uncertainty and anxiety in the air and Americans are desperate for a distraction, something amazing.  And no one could deliver Amazement better than PT Barnum and his legendary circus animals and entertainers.

Striking vintage circus artwork on this Original 1943 Barnum & Bailey poster.   Great piece of history !

Condition:  Excellent crisp 100% Original UN-restored condition.   NO triming or tears as most all these posters experience and bold bright colors, No fading. .   NEVER Folded (as were most of these vintage circus posters) , hence no heavy fold creases !

Note: This early 1940s Giraffe artwork by Bill Bailey is particularly desireable by collectors and interior designers for its beauty and detail.
