Quiet Man, 1956
Original vintage vie poster
Starring John Wayne & Maureen O'Hara

Extremely are version of the one sheet movie poster for the 1956 re-release of Quiet Man.   As a matter of fact, I have never seen this particular artwork used for the 56 re-release in my 35 years collecting vintage movie posters.  This is the artwork that was used for the original 1951 release.  We have owned maybe 20 of the 1956 re-release posters and they ALL have the image of John Wayne carrying Maureen O'Hara.  This is the first time we have seen the "swinging" style used for the 56 release. Very good condition with some minor tears and splitting at the fold lines and a couple small tears at the border.  However, linen backing would resolve these minor issues and the poster would look amazing!
